After being home to two generations of the Nawabs of Pataudi, cricketers Iftikhar Ali Khan and Mansur Ali Khan, the actress Sharmila Tagore entered the Pataudi Palace. Today, the Pataudi Palace is known as the home of two generations of Bollywood stars, including Sharmila and her children Soha and Saif Ali Khan.
Pataudi Palace is a former palace of the Nawabs of Pataudi, in Haryana, India, which is now a heritage hotel of Neemrana Hotels. According to recent reports, it is being readied for the wedding celebration of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor and all the bookings are on hold for renovations.
According to the official web site of the Pataudi Palace, "it was here, among others, where Mangal Pandey, Veer Zaara, Rang De Basanti, Gandhi My Father and now Eat, Pray, Love were filmed."
